I'm Steph, founder and baker of Silver Bowl Baking.  I love creating cakes that not only taste delicious (mmm, lekker!), but also look sophisticated and beautiful.  One of the ways I show my love for friends and family is through baking - nothing makes me happier than seeing the surprise on their faces when they see or taste a sweet treat made especially for them.

My husband and I relocated to Amsterdam in August 2014 after living in Chicago and New York.  While I used to be a Banker-by-Day and Baker-by-Night, I took our move as an opportunity to turn my passion into my new full-time job (because Excel spreadsheets and artisanal sweet treats are *almost* the same thing...).  So now I'm just a Baker, by Day and Night!
